Unboxing the Pearl Abyss Blitzway Dark Knight – Every rose has its thorns

Pearl Abyss sent over the most exquisitely crafted Dark Knight figure, one made in collaboration with Blitzway. Available as of 17 December 2021, the titular Dark Knight is available from the Pearl Abyss Store. Let’s look her over, shall we?

OVERVIEW

This figure has some assembly needed, and at 550mm tall, 400mm wide base and 350mm width, hope you have enough space to display her out of the box!

Blitzway have pretty much captured every last detail of the Dark Knight, with the fine vines running across her body, the small spikes on her chest piece, and the thin fabric that covers her skin. It’s not fishnets, but gorgeous regardless. You can even admire the leather texture effect, where some might simply leave them plain and as is. You can see the translucent gradients up close, over solid colours. The level of care put into this is eyewatering, well worth your time to scrutinize every indentation and sculpted line.

BASE

Feet enthusiasts may mourn the lack of toes showing, but don’t let that deter you. The delicate chains and straps of her heels are replicated in physical form. The base has embedded stones, with spaces for you to attach the vines. As this figure has LED lighting, it has a discreet port where you can plug it in for the soft glow.
