Unboxing – Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin Collector’s Edition

Capcom earns one’s hard earned money through this Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin Collector’s Edition! The game officially launches today, as Monster Hunter for series newbies, as one would be led to believe. There’s no need for much preamble, let’s just see what the goods are.

THE BOX

The whole thing is packaged in a box using the game’s key visual. There’s nothing much to it, except it’s big enough to accommodate the goodies it holds.

THE BADGES

The collector’s edition comes with three “instant photo-style” tin badges of the Wings of Ruin cast, featuring Avinia (with her Japanese name, Ayuria), Ena and Kyle. The names are all in different fonts, looking like they were signed by the characters themselves.

THE POUCH

This is a three-way pouch, emblazoned with the Wings of Ruin emblem. It comes with two straps of different lengths to facilitate the “three-way” function. Otherwise, it looks really ordinary inside.

THE POSTER

Our set came with the game poster, of the game’s key visual.

THE ACRYLIC STAND

Last but not least, is the acrylic stand featuring the game’s cast, and the protagonists. Action pose, everybody!
