Ultraman Season 2 Release Date Announced With Explosive New Trailer

Netflix has announced the release date for Ultraman Season 2, which sees the next chapter in the super-powered heroes all going under the name of Ultraman.

Ultraman Season 2 has a release date of April 14th, where it will stream on Netflix globally for all audiences.

To celebrate the release date announcement, Netflix has also out out a new trailer, showing the various new Ultraman heroes that debut in the anime including Ultraman Taro and Ultraman Jack.

The trailer also shows the return of Ultraman Ver 7 and Ultraman ACE, as well as the original Ultraman getting his own suit.

Fans of Dan Moroboshi might also spy the upgrade for the Ver 7 suit, featuring the addition of large fire arms on top of the sword-wielding suit.

Netflix’s Ultraman is based off of the Ultraman manga, which takes the classic tokusatsu hero in a new direction. As the son of the original Ultraman, Shinjiro awakens his own special powers, and dons a mechanical suit to fight off rogue aliens who threaten the balance of society.
