INTRAGAMES has announced the upcoming release of Ultra Age on PC through Steam this April. The announcement was made in a pre-recorded “Ultra Age Roadmap Press Conference”.
With its upcoming Steam release on 28 April 2022, Ultra Age will be seeing several improvements for this version, including areas such as graphics, gameplay and other content. The overall graphics for backgrounds, chapters and main character Age’s appearance have been improved, besides frame rate, graphic options, adjustments to level design and to difficulty. A number of in-game elements have been modified to be more comfortable. This is on top of bug fixes and other PC options. The English and Japanese dub have been re-recorded to enhance immersion as well.
Additionally, a free DLC will be released. It will include end-game content for those who have completed the story mode, a rogue-lite mode and more growth options. The DLC is expected to arrive in the early second half of 2022.
All the aforementioned tweaks will be patched in for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions “as soon as possible”. The console editions launched 9 September 2021. Here’s its Steam page overview:
