Ubisoft Division Day Stream Announces Launch Of Season One Of Year 5 Including A Road Map

Direct from the Division Day Stream, the announcement for the launch of Season One of Year 5 for The Division 2 sees the biggest content update for the game comes in the form of a brand new rogue-lite game mode.

This game mode is called “Descent” and will be free for all players to enjoy solo or online co-op.

Not only that, a roadmap for Year 5 has also been outlined as and will come in four seasons, which are:

• Season 1 (Broken Wing)
  This new season brings a new twist on Manhunts as well as introducing the new Game Mode. Players will also see the continuation of a multi-season rebuild of the Castle Settlement. a Splinter Cell themed outfit is also available for unlock as part of the premium pass for Season One: Broken Wings. 
• Season 2 (Puppeteers)
  A challenging new Incursion will take Agents on a venture out to the Meret Estate for another confrontation with the Cleaners.
• Season 3 (Vanguard)
  features Back to NY and a holiday event, agents will go back to New York City for the holidays and discover new revelations about Aaron Keener and his Rogues.
• Season 4 (Black Diamond)
  New story DLC will be available that adds new zones, new main missions, and a whole new endgame structure.

Each season will also continue to introduce new Manhunts, Leagues, and Events. Players will need to own the Warlords of New York expansion however in order to access all of the new content aside from Descent mode.

Not only that, the Season will also have an Apparel Event that allows players to get their hands on new costumes and outfits in the game as well as a special collaboration with Resident Evil. Players can get the iconic Leon S Kennedy outfit, weapon skins and more from the collab event just by logging in in from 25th April to 9th of May 2023.

From 21st April, PC players will get early preview of Broken Wing through PC Test Server while on 2nd May there will be a Division Day Sale for players to get new Outfits, Weapon Skin and emotes at a discount.
