Ubisoft announced its Gods and Monsters, Rainbow Six Quarantine and Watch Dogs Legion will be delayed to its 2020 – 2021 fiscal year. These games could now be seeing a release sometime between April 2020 and March 2021.
Gods and Monsters is a cartoony action-adventure game set in Greek mythology, by makers of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Its initial release date was 25 February 2020. Watch Dogs Legion, the next game in the Watch Dogs series, was announced for 6 March 2020. You would be able to control almost any NPC in the new Watch Dogs game. Tactical co-op shooter Rainbow Six Quarantine had no known release date, beyond “sometime 2020”.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot explained the delay is meant to give teams “more development time to ensure that their respective innovations are perfectly implemented to deliver optimal experiences for players.”
Just recently, The Last of Us Part II also got delayed to 29 May 2020, initially set for 21 February 2020.
