Two new Pokemon games are now on Facebook Gaming: Pokemon Tower Battle and Pokemon Medallion Battle. Tower Battle is available worldwide, while Medallion Battle seems restricted only to Asia for the time being.
Pokemon Tower Battle is very simple. Simply drag the Pokemon left or right to choose where to drop the Pokemon, then tap the Drop button to release it. You have a timer, so don’t take too long to decide! You and your opponent will take turns to stack Pokemon on top of each other. Someone will lose when someone’s dropped Pokemon falls off the tower. Poke Balls, of which you have a limited number of, will swap the current Pokemon to something different.
You get “Stack EXP” from how high the tower is, and ranking up can earn you rewards like more Poke Balls.
In Pokemon Medallion Battle, it’s more of a card battle game. You will be given a “starter Pokemon” when you load up the game, which you can reroll if you wish.
The medals of Pokemon have their typings, skills and CP. The first to win three battles will take the match! The easiest way to win is to field a higher CP Pokemon that you have. Typings also important, as type advantage will increase CP against the other Pokemon. You can tap on a Pokemon to check what their skill does.
You can field up to six Pokemon at a time. Evolving is possible with Candies. As you level, more Gyms will open, and you can get more Pokemon medallions in packs!
Handily enough, for skills like Foresight, you can simply tap the button highlighted on the right image to see what Pokemon was revealed.
Well, if you’re raring to try out these games, then head over to Facebook Gaming and start!
