Electronic Arts, in collaboration with Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment, has unveiled Star Wars Zero Company, a single-player, turn-based tactics game expected for launch in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Based on the official first trailer of the game, Star Wars Zero Company is set during the twilight of the Clone Wars, where players will assume the role of Hawks, a former Republic officer leading an elite squad of operatives. The game emphasizes strategic decision-making, with each choice impacting the narrative’s outcome. Players can customize Hawks’ appearance and recruit operatives from various classes and species, including Clone Troopers and Jedi. These operatives can be tailored in terms of appearance, loadouts, and abilities, allowing for diverse tactical approaches.

A key feature is the development of a base of operations, where players gather intelligence and plan missions across the galaxy. The game aims to deliver a cinematic experience while remaining accessible to newcomers to the genre. Bit Reactor’s CEO and creative director, Greg Foertsch, stated that their vision is to intertwine the immersive Star Wars galaxy with engaging turn-based tactics gameplay, ensuring meaningful outcomes from player choices.

The upcoming release of Star Wars Zero Company promises to offer fans a fresh narrative within the Star Wars universe, focusing on espionage, sabotage, and tactical operations during a pivotal era.
