Here is a synopsis of the plot of the game:
“Three mighty powers have long waged war on the great continent of Norzelia. This land bears a long and scarred history that includes the Saltiron War, a war that erupted over control of salt and iron resources. A balance of power has been achieved between the Holy State of Hyzante, which controls the salt, the Grand Dutchy of Aesfrost, a land of iron clad in frost and snow, and the forested Kingdom of Glenbook, which lies nestled between the other two powers. However, a certain incident shakes the balance between these three powers, which then begins to crumble away…”
Triangle Strategy was originally released for the Nintendo Switch in March of this year, quickly gaining critical acclaim as one of the best RPGs on the console. In our own review, we praised Triangle Strategy for its detailed story and unique tactical combat.
The game is a spiritual successor to Final Fantasy Tactics and Square Enix’s second attempt at an “HD-2D” game consisting of highly detailed 2D sprites in a 3D environment.
The Steam version also features a Digital Deluxe Edition which includes a digital mini-artbook consisting of 20 different pages.
Triangle Strategy is now available for PC via Steam as well as Nintendo Switch.
