Trials of Mana New Characters Revealed

Two new characters in Trials of Mana have been revealed. The trailer below reveals the details of two new main protagonists. Firstly, the half-elf young maiden, Charlotte from the Holy City of Wendel. Secondly, the heir to the throne of Ferolia, Kevin.

Trials of Mana

Trials of Mana is a modern revival of the 3rd game in the seminal Mana series. The game, originally released in Japan as Seiken Densetsu 3, has been fully rebuilt from the ground up in 3D. It is currently being developed and published by Square Enix. Trials of Mana will release on Steam and PS4 on April 24, 2020.

Kevin

Kevin appears to be a beastman type character, capable of shifting into a more beastial form. He also seems to befriend a cute puppy called Carl. His beast form looks wicked cool and has some Dragonball Z vibes to it too. Not much can be said about Kevin except the wailing of “CAAAAAARL!” isn’t very…flattering.

Charlotte

Although Charlotte appears to be carrying a chained mace (look at those stars too, pretty cool!), the trailer doesn’t show any scenes of her in combat. However, the trailer does show her running around with a HP and MP bar, so perhaps she will be a supportive character. She owso appeauws to tawk in UwU, so that’s pwetty cwinge.

So, terrible voice acting aside, players are still excited for this game! Some people have already jokingly said (or they might be dead serious, I can’t tell) that they’ll just try to play the game with the Japanese dialogue voices.
