Tower of Permanence – A Randomly Generated Tower Everyday!

//commentout, a Japanese indie developer is preparing to show more of their upcoming game called The Tower of Permanence. The game will be made available for the PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile phones. They had released their first trailer back in May and recently has revealed yet another trailer during the TGS 2017.

The Tower of Permanence is an action game where you will need to go through a series of obstacles climbing up a tower. There are traps and enemies on the way, however there are power-ups which will assist you in defeating them occasionally when you need to. What’s interesting about this game is that the tower that you climb procedurally generates a new one everyday. That means, players will experience a different tower everyday!

Players will face a new tower with new challenges everyday. While the game is pretty much solo, players will be able to compete with the rest to see who will be the first to clear the tower of the day or achieve the highest score after clearing. There’s no rewards stated but I would say you do it for the bragging rights.

There is also a function in the game which allows players to leave a dying message on their graves. This will let other players in the game see that message when they come across it. Kinda like Dark Souls perhaps? There will be more information coming soon on the revelation of new characters, stages and more during this coming Tokyo Indies Fest at the Tokyo Game Show 2017 from September 21st throughout September 24th.
