The series is based on the original webcomic by S.I.U. that was published on WEBTOON in June 2010 and the first season was first aired in April 2020.

Synopsis
The synopsis is as follows:
Reach the top, and everything will be yours. At the top of the tower exists everything in this world, and all of it can be yours. You can become a god. This is the story of the beginning and the end of Rachel, the girl who climbed the tower so she could see the stars, and Bam, the boy who needed nothing but her.
For the uninitiated, the original Tower of God manhwa is divided into three parts, of which the first Season covers all events in Part 1.
This would mean that Season 2 will tell the story of Yuri asking her sister Jaina Zahard to search for Bam and a 6-year time skip would happen, revealing that Bam had joined Ja Wangnan in another Regular group.
As mentioned, Season 2 of Tower of God has been confirmed and is scheduled to air sometime in July 2024 on Crunchyroll.
