It looks like Tower of Fantasy might be getting a global release after all, after the Twitter accounts for the Japanese and English versions were verified today.
Interestingly enough, these aren’t new accounts- these appear to be the same accounts we previously reported on, meaning that rather than being impersonators for Tower Of Fantasy it looks like there was simply a lack of communication between different regional teams for the game.
This does also retroactively confirm the previous announcement- that a global release is coming for Tower of Fantasy, since the game was previously released only in China.
“We would like to let everyone know that the international version of ToF is in the works! In the meantime, feel free to follow us to stay up to date on all things ToF!🗡️”, the account tweets.
No further tweets have been made since the account was verified, and with it no updates either on a possible timeline for pre registration or a beta for the global version of Tower Fantasy.

That being said the Japanese Twitter has had a much more lively time, promoting the game with Japanese promotional art introducing the game’s characters.
Tower of Fantasy has quite a bit of an uphill battle in the public eye- the game has drawn unfavorable comparisons next to miHoYo’s Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd, not at all helped by accusations of stealing assets in the game.
