The Chinese server for Tower of Fantasy 4.2 patch is set to introduce a new “fan service” mode, adding to the game’s existing features. Though no official announcements have been made, we do know that this feature is confirmed to arrive with patch 4.2. Check out the PV below for more details.
As mentioned, the 4.2 patch for Tower of Fantasy will include a fan service-y mode called “Simulacrum Dormitory”. Many features are included in this mode such as interacting with characters, changing decorations, and even changing the characters’ costumes. Furniture, interactive actions and outfits require Nora weapon to unlock and purchased with dormitory tickets. The tickets can be earned through weekly activities or bought from the in-game store.
The video below goes more into detail on what you can do in the Simulacrum Dormitory.
Tower of Fantasy is a free-to-play open world action role-playing game. Initially released on December 16, 2021 for China, Tower of Fantasy was later released globally on August 11, 2022 and is available on PS5, PS4, PC via Steam and on Android and iOS.
Speaking of fan service, Snowbreak: Containment Zone was recently criticized in regards to catering to the “male gaze”. The staff have responded saying “these distractions won’t do anything to shake our original goal.”
