Towa Tsugai closed beta test applications now open

Towa Tsugai is now accepting applicants for an upcoming closed beta test, scheduled to begin mid December 2022. You can check out the portal for the Towa Tsugai closed beta test here.

Interested players can sign up for the test until 11 December 2022, 23:59 JST. The test itself is planned to run from 13 December 2022 to 18 December 2022, 23:59 JST, the exact timing still subject to change. Only 1000 players may be able to try out the game, to be selected by lottery if they receive more than their given limit. Recommended devices are simply listed as iPhone 11 or newer, or Android devices released after 2020.

You are required to have a club ANIMATE membership to sign up for the test, besides also being a Japanese resident. The terms and conditions also mention that the game has an age limit, and thus is limited to those above the age of 17. As you might expect, any data from this test will not be carried over to the official service, planned for a February 2023 release.

The story as we know it is as follows:

Towa Tsugai takes place in a world that has begun to be eroded by the “Black Sea” with “Demonic Beast” pouring out from them. An organization called CAGE has been created, sending out girls called “Birds” to the frontline to combat the beasts.
