Touhou Danmaku Kagura, an upcoming mobile title and the first rhythm game for the Touhou series in 25 years, finally has a release in sight. Touhou Danmaku Kagura will release in the summer of this year for iOS and Android devices.

The new PV showcased additional gameplay footage and some in-game cutscenes. Blending Touhou‘s bullet hell gameplay with the franchise’s iconic music in the form of a rhythm game, players can choose over 40 characters to build their team with. Note that this game does not have an English version announced at the time of writing.
Together with the new PV, the YouTube channel for the game also uploaded a video featuring the game’s theme song. You can watch the video here:
Touhou Danmaku Kagura‘s theme song, when translated to English, is titled “Flowers Blooming in Fantasy”. The arrangement of the song is by Kayako Kusano, the composer of the Demon Slayer anime opening, Gurenge. Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets performed the song.
