Total War Battles: Warhammer , A Mobile Take On Total War Warhammer Announced

Take the Old World with you wherever you go with the all new Total War Battles: Warhammer, a mobile take on Total War Warhammer. The game is now open for pre-registration on iOS and Android

The game is based on races from Warhammer Fantasy Battle, the original fantasy setting for the Warhammer IP. In the game, you’ll be able to play through the campaign, where you must defeat the Skaven Under-Empire for control of the Warpstone Island.

You’ll engage in real-time strategy battles, as well as use cunning and diplomacy to win over cities to your side. You can also team up with friends to form your own Faction, pooling together your resources and units to conquer the island.

The game will also have you controlling Lords and Heroes, which will have powerful abilities that can help you turn the tides of battle in a pinch.

From the trailer we can see several factions such as Dwarves, Humans, Elves, Orcs and Skaven. It’s unknown if more factions would be added later, similar to Total War: Warhammer on PC.

Total War Battles: Warhammer is being developed by NetEase Games, who publish mobile games for many popular IPs such as Marvel and Blizzard. While they haven’t announced if the game will be paid or free-to-play, NetEase’s track record would suggest the latter as being more likely.
