A month ago, Toro to Puzzle: Doko Demo Issyo developed by Forward Works Inc announced that they are planning to launch the game in mobile devices. Toro to Puzzle: Doko Demo Issyo is being launched as an act as a celebration of 20th anniversary of Doko Demo Issyo, which was published in July 1999 in Sony Playstation.
Forward Works Inc conducted a closed beta test for the preparation for the official service launch. The closed beta test was available on iOS. Application for the beta test was started on June 5th and closed on June 9th. The beta test was conducted from June 10th until June 17th. On 12th July, the questionnaire result are out and was published on their official website.
We discovered some new game features from a video that was uploaded by one of beta testers. The puzzle can be solved by arranging three of the same fruit into one tile. The game can be cleared when they collect enough fruits in the game objective. However, the game has limited movements that limits the players to move around. Luckily, the game has tools that can help the players to clear the level.
After clearing the level, a new building gets unlocked. New stories gets uncovered as the town continues to developed . Players gets to meet new characters and interact with them. Player can choose how they want to interact the other characters from the dialogue options.
According to their official website, more than 70% participators satisfied with the game. The company claims that they will continue to adjust and improve the gameplay difficulty and the balance of the game. They are considering to add auto play feature for the story of the game. Forward Works Inc plans to make more improvements and will continue developing the game before the official service starts. The release date for Toro to Puzzle:Doko Demo Issyo is not confirmed yet.
