The Torchlight series have been well received and ever since they announced the mobile version back in E3 LA 2015, the fans went wild. Torchlight Mobile has showed us promising gameplay with graphics that looks superbly sharp on a mobile platform.
Back in E3 LA 2015, the game was showcased and demoed that won Best Mobile RPG by mmorpg.com. In the footage below, the game was tested in TGS 2016 where we see the smooth gameplay on a tablet.
Torchlight Mobile is not a conversion of the PC version onto mobile. It is a whole new game that is programmed from scratch with a new story line. The game will be optimized for its gaming experience for all mobile users of Android and iOS.
While the PC version offers us large dungeons to explore, loot drops, variety of enemies, 4 different classes, flashy and vibrant animations and pets to assist you in your adventures, the mobile version has an interesting element added to it. A PVP system that allows players to battle with strangers or friends in an Arena. This adds a little competition amongst players that will keep the game interesting.

MOBAs as we know it would have a standard three to two lane map with minions spawning and jungle monsters as well as a map boss. The addition of the minigame allows players to maybe rest a little from exploring dungeons to battle against others with a specific objective. The game will also have a Guild system where players form a guild among the community to challenge other guilds for resources and fame.
One thing that was disappointing is that in the Chinese Closed Beta version of Torchlight Mobile, there were only three playable classes available. The classes were sort of recycled or commonly known like EmberBlade, Kitsune and Engineer. Unlike its predecessors of the PC version where we were exposed to complete different classes from Torchlight and Torchlight 2. Perhaps the fourth class could be a complete different class than we have encountered thus far.

However no information was released on any in-game purchases yet. And the most important good news is there will be no Stamina system that would cripple players from playing it leisurely.
