The first Torchlight: Infinite closed beta has been running for quite some time now, with the developers announcing a second one to be coming soon.
Players in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand will be able to enjoy the current closed beta until 14 March, its expected end date. The TapTap developer notice goes through various aspects of the game brought forward by fan feedback, namely:
- Addressing the lack of content in the later game
- Increasing Netherrealm Timemarks with difficulty, with rarer beacons and scaling rewards
- New heroes, bosses, monster species, challenges and maps to come, with one new hero almost complete
- Optimizations for item pick-ups, Netherrealm, hero talents
- “Hero Board” where players can check out other builds
And of course, last but not least, the mention of the second Torchlight: Infinite closed beta. Hopefully, more territories will be able to try it out. In my closed beta experience, I had a lot of ping issues since connection wasn’t doing so hot. If you’ve liked what you’ve seen so far, then by all means, do keep an eye out on their socials and blog posts through TapTap.
