Ubisoft recently released an beta game for their upcoming mobile RPG, Tom Clancy’s Secret Project Alpha, that consists of soldiers or characters from their IP like Division, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell. The game is not a shooter game or even a stealth game. However it’s going to be the same old generic gacha game where you collect characters and form a team to take down the enemy.
You’ll be building a squad of 5 soldiers from the Ubisoft IP against other 5. Each character will have their very own unique skills and can be activated once every cool down. Like all mobile RPGs, the characters can be upgraded up to 5 Stars through character shards. They can also be strengthened further by equipping armor and weapon upgrades.
Once on the battlefield, the characters will take their positions according to their roles, for example Montagne from Rainbow Six: Siege is an Attacker with a shield, so he stands in front of others taking most of the hits. While the rest will be behind covers, shooting. Each stage has a Skill Rating which is a gauge to how much power your team should have before taking on the stage. There are other modes besides the Campaign mode, like Spec Ops where you can gather specific Gears or Items. If you’re feeling lonely, there’s also a Clan System as well in the game.
If you are interested, you can download the beta on Google Play Store or if it’s unavailable in your country you can download it from APK Pure. The game is still in its Beta phase and only available for 7-days so download and try it out now before it ends.
