Tokyo Game Show 2020 will be TGS 2020 ONLINE

Tokyo Game Show 2020 ONLINE / TGS 2020 ONLINE will be running for five days from 23 to 27 September on the official TGS website, after the event at Makuhari Messe was cancelled. Calls for exhibitors will commence today, 25 June.

Companies and organizations from every spectrum in the gaming industry – major publishers to indie developers – will be unveiling their titles and services through the Official TGS channel, streaming programs, videos and websites created by TGS 2020 ONLINE Exhibits.

The event will have both live streaming of esports tournaments, as well as new information on game-related goods. The online round-table discussions covering the latest topics in games will also be hosted by the organizer. All of these online contents can be viewed for free of charge.

Online business matching systems for exhibitors and game-related businesses will be hosted from 23 September. The Business Matching System is to facilitate flawless online meetings and networking opportunities among participants. Various individuals involved in game-related businesses can participate in this online matching event on a fee basis. The system will launch mid-August 2020 with a call for participation. More details will be announced at a later date on the official website.
