Compile Heart announced that its dungeon RPG Tokyo Clanpool will launch for Nintendo Switch in Asia and on PC via GOG worldwide on December 19, 2024, priced at $39.99 / €39.99. The game will feature English and Traditional Chinese localization, with a worldwide Switch release to follow. To mark the occasion, eastasiasoft has released a new trailer showcasing gameplay.
Physical editions of the Nintendo Switch version are available for pre-order through Play-Asia, with both standard and Limited editions. Set in a near-future Tokyo, where the government has collapsed after a massive tower emerges from the mysterious Reverse City, players assume the role of Prime Minister Natsume Kannuki. Leading her team of Diet Dolls, they’ll navigate the tower to battle lurking monsters. The game offers first-person exploration through intricate corridors, strategic turn-based combat, and a unique Digiskin system for character customization.
Players must also manage citizen approval ratings; favorable actions yield rewards, while low ratings may cause cabinet resignations. Uncover the tower’s secrets with Prime Minister Kannuki and her team.
Originally released for the PS Vita in Japan on September 25, 2017, Tokyo Clanpool now reaches a global audience for the first time. This enhanced release introduces the game’s unique blend of dungeon crawling and political intrigue to new platforms, inviting players worldwide to explore its rich narrative and strategic gameplay.
