TV anime Toji no Miko which is scheduled to air in January 2018 will be getting a mobile game developed by the one and only Square Enix, as part of its multimedia initiative.
Very little is revealed on the teaser site for the game, although one thing for sure is that the original cast for the anime will be reprising their roles for the game too. As far as release dates go, the game will be out sometime next year as well, in conjunction with the release of the game. Nothing concrete about the plot is known at this point, other than the fact that the heroines are shrine maidens who are bestowed famous katanas to vanquish evil.
Kakimoto Kodai of Arpeggio of Blue Steel fame will be directing the show for Studio Gokumi, while Takahashi Tatsuya, known best for his work for game developer Leaf, will handle writing tasks.
