A special livestream has shown off the new designs for Tiger And Bunny Season 2, with some slight tweaks to everyone’s favorite superhero duo.
Dubbed “Style 3”, the new designs for the protagonists of Tiger and Bunny are largely similar to their previous counterparts, although they do look slightly sleeker. One thing to note is that the illustrations don’t feature any branding on them, though that’s likely because the sponsors for the next season have yet to be decided.
They also had suit actors wearing the new Style 3 suits, showing up for the end stinger of the Tiger and Bunny livestream.
On top of that, we also got a peek at the new designs for the protagonists’ regular outfits. Kotetsu in particular has the biggest change, ditching his old waistcoat for a slightly longer one. Barnaby looks largely unchanged, keeping the same leather jacket motif he had from the first season.
It wasn’t just Kotetsu and Barnaby, however. Promotional art for the second season was also shown, along with updated outfits for the rest of the show’s cast. This season takes place after The Rising, the movie following up from Tiger and Bunny Season 1. Golden Ryan, who debuted during The Rising movie was not featured in the art, meaning the character is unlikely to return for the season after he departed.
