Three Rare Art Pokemon TGC Cards Will Be Included In the Paldea Evolved Expansion Set

The new Pokemon TCG Expansion Pack Set: Paldea Evolved will be available in Malaysia on June 9th.

In addition to being used by trainers to play and compete, there are three Rare Art cards featuring the three starter Pokemon of the Paldea Region: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly (the following images are in Indonesian but the cards will also be available in English).

The first is a Sprigatito card, depicting the weed cat sleeping on a potted plant. The illustration was done by Japanese illustrator Kouki Satou. In Pokémon card games or matches, the Sprigatito AR has an attack called Gather Sunlight, where the player can select a maximum of 2 elemental energy sheets from his or her deck to add to a holding card.

The second Art Rare card is Fuecoco in a shopping cart. In this card illustrated by Kantaro, Fuecoco looks comfortable in the trolley, going off to get some snacks I suppose. The Fuecoco AR cards feature the attack Daydream. This attack is used to toss a coin once and if the result is heads, the Pokemon’s HP can be restored by 30.

The third card is the Quaxly card posing in front of the mirror, a little narcissistic but with hair (or feathers) like that, I can’t blame them. This card illustration is by Souichirou Gunjima. The Quaxly AR card has Gel Splash as an attack with 20 damage. On the opponent’s next turn, when the Pokémon that received this attack uses an attack, the opponent tosses a coin once. If the result is the back side, the attack failed.

In all, there are more than 73 Pokemon cards that can be obtained in the Enhanced Booster Pack Paldea Evolved. Each booster pack contains five random cards. Pokemon fans in Malaysia can get these cards in various retail stores.
