After a months-long process of stress tests during its Open Beta phase, the third-person vehicle shooting game, Crossout, is launching 12 June (today!). The game, developed by Targem Games and co-published by Gaijin Entertainment and PlayPark Inc., Crossout combines gather-and-build mechanics from MMOs with the fast-paced gameplay of shooters for a unique competitive experience.
In the post-apocalyptic Wastelands, survivors live by three words in this lawless valley: Craft, ride, destroy. Scavenge resources from missions to build guns and parts for their unique vehicles. Cobble together many combinations of parts from tank threads to guns and armour to build the ultimate war machine.
The official launch will also see a big patch to improve overall gameplay, the Personal Playground area, and a battlepass system for the new season, Doomsday Cars. The Personal Playground will include interactive upgrades to your garage while the battle pass system is a paid account upgrade that will give players bigger and better rewards for completing specific challenges. The battle pass system also has unique items and skins that can be unlocked by ranking up the pass, allowing players to improve and customize their war machines.
With official esports partners Mineski, TNC, WomboXCombo, and CollabAsia, Crossout is set to be the newest esports title to excite both professional players and fans in Southeast Asia. Watch out for local and regional online tournaments from Crossout and PlayPark Inc.! Competitive players should stay tuned.
For livestreaming creators, the game has partnered with Peenoise Realm for content-packed with gameplay, memes, and fun. If you want to sign up to help share this game to your audience, then head over the Facebook page and DM.
Crafting is a major part of Crossout, to gain more powerful upgrade to weapons, armour and other parts. You can make or salvage them with different rarities attached. You’ll want to ride into missions to get the blueprints and materials for Legendary or Relic items to get the best stats for its class.
Once you’re built up, you can check your vehicle’s power score and Durability to determine your readiness for battle. Keep an eye on your Energy which you’ll need to power y our movement and weapons, and Tonnage for the number of parts your vehicle can safely carry. Exceeding Tonnage in weight will inflict a Speed and Acceleration penalty.
Dive into the missions to fight teams of eight players for resources, or go Raids for PvE to test run your machine on AI enemies. Raids have objectives that will require players to work together for victory. Brawls are PvP daily rotating events , from Races (guns are disabled), Free For All (first to 10 kills), and Storm Warning (a Free For All variant with a powerful environmental hazard). Guild vs Guild is where valuable Uranium can be earned, and a Battle Royale mode is where parts and weapons can be obtained as you out-ride and out-destroy other survivors.
