[THGS24] From Stage Event to Demos: SEGA Showcases the Latest at Thailand Game Show 2024

SEGA recently made a significant presence at the Thailand Game Show 2024, marking their third consecutive year at the event with their booth and Sonic X Shadow Generations stage event.

Visitors to SEGA’s booth had the opportunity to experience demos of several highly anticipated titles, including Sonic X Shadow Generations, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, Sonic Rumble, and ATLUS’s Metaphor: ReFantazio. Notably, the Sonic X Shadow Generations demo was available in Thai, catering to local audiences.

Throughout the event, SEGA’s booth featured mascot appearances for photo opportunities, as well as interactive activities. These included game introductions and quiz competitions at scheduled times each day. SEGA also implemented a social media campaign where attendees could participate in a GACHAPON activity by posting photos with the hashtag #SEGATGS24, offering chances to win various prizes including gaming hardware.

In a new addition to their booth this year, SEGA featured a merchandise area offering products from the Sonic and Like a Dragon series. Attendees who participated in booth activities or tried the demos received various free gifts, including reversible shopper bags, t-shirts, and character-themed items.

Another highlight of SEGA’s presence was a stage presentation by Sonic X Shadow Generations Producer Shun Nakamura. During this event, Nakamura showcased gameplay from the Space Colony ARK arc, achieving an S Rank in the demo. The presentation also included a Q&A session with giveaways of Sonic X Shadow Generations t-shirts.

The Thailand Game Show 2024 provided ample opportunity for fans to engage with the latest offerings of SEGA and potentially walk away with exclusive merchandise and experiences.
