[THGS 2022] Hands On Deck Experience at the Bandai Namco Booth

The annual Thailand Game Show 2022 is back in full swing with it returning as a physical event, and we got the opportunity to visit the Bandai Namco booth and check out what they had in store for us.

From a first glance, the Bandai Namco booth is one of the biggest booth there is at Thailand Game Show 2022 and you’re able to see a bunch of people trying their hands on the plethora of games that were available to try out such as:

• ONE PIECE ODYSSEY
•  DORAEMON STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of the Great Kingdom
• Ace Angler: Fishing Spirits
•  SD GUNDAM BATTLE ALLIANCE
•  PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC
•  Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival

And while we had previously tried out some of the listed games before, it was certainly a different experience being able to play them in a crowded area such as this one. The demo time can be played for around 10 – 20 minutes depending on the games.

One of the coolest things that I noticed was over at the Dragon Ball: The Breaker section where they had 8 players playing the game all at the same time and same place, which was very reminiscent to like a local LAN party.

The queues to try out the games were pretty smooth and went by pretty fast because there were several consoles at once for each game.

Besides being able to try out the games, visitors can also shop for various of toys and merchandise from Bandai such as action  figures or gunpla. Although, the newer products such as the Gundam Aerial isn’t being sold there.

The biggest highlight at the Bandai Namco booth was definitely the decorations for some of the games there. Some of the prominent ones were with the ONE PIECE ODYSSEY where they had rocks and trees surround the area. Another cool decorations that they had was definitely the life sized statue of the Gundam Aerial at the SD Gundam area.
