These Madoka Magica keychains let you make contactless payments

The time has come for technology to let us make payments with anime girls. Madoka Magica keychains will let owners make contactless payments.

Sony announced earlier today, 30th April 2021, that they are starting trial sales of these electronic keychains which feature anime characters. These keychains come equipped with a built-in FeliCa chip that lets users make contactless payments via RFID Technology.

The first two designs are for these keychains feature Madoka Kaname and Homura Akemi, characters from renowned magical girl anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica. The series is also celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

ANIPLEX+ is accepting pre-orders for the products. Pre-orders will open for an entire month, from 1st May 2021, 10.00 am to midnight of 31st May 2021. Currently, the keychains are priced at 2980 yen each, inclusive of tax. The keychains come with 6 months warranty and are expected to ship in July later of this year.

Sony is also considering to collaborate with more anime franchises in the future to feature their characters as designs for the electronic keychains.
