Previously announced to be delayed indefinitely, CD Projekt Red has finally revealed the release date for the next gen update of their game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The update is coming on the 14th December, 2022 and will be available digitally while the physical release is to be announced at a later date.
According to their official twitter, players who have previously owned the game will be getting the update for free.
You can expect more details of this update and even a gameplay reveal on the coming livestream by CD Projekt Red happening next week.

The Witcher 3 is an action RPG by CD Projekt Red where player takes control of the character Geralt of Rivia, a monster slayer known as the Witcher searching for his adopted daughter while being on the run from the otherworldly Wild Hunt.
The game was released for the PlayStation 4, Windows and PC in May 2015 and later for the Nintendo Switch in October 19.
It was then planned to be re-release for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC for the second half of 2021 but was later put into an indefinite delay.
Now, the next-gen for The Witcher 3 has been confirmed to come on December 14th, 2022 digitally with the physical release to be announced later.
