The super mid-range Sony Xperia 10 II is here

Sony announced the Xperia 10 II today, adding a new super-mid model to its portfolio of all-round entertainment smartphones.

Like with the Xperia 10, the Xperia 10 II comes with:

• a 6 inch 21:9 Wide design
• Sleek OLED screen with TRILUMINOS display for mobile, the same technology found in BRAVIA TVs for an immersive viewing experience
• Video image optimization for deeper blacks and more vibrant colours

The 21:9 display allows you to take gaming to the next level, besides various usability experiences exclusive to Sony, including:

• Multi-window for two screens or apps open at the same time for multi-tasking
• Multi-window switch feature between last used/recommended apps
• Side sense for easy access to favourite apps with a touch of your thumb

With the triple lens camera of the Xperia 10 II – a combination of 12MP and 22 8MP lenses with the same focal length combination as the Xperia 1: ultra-wide-angle (16mm), wide-angle (26mm) and telephoto (52mm), capture every waking moment. The new and improved colour reproduction means you can capture beautiful shots every time. At 151g, with IP65/IP68 water and dust resistance and Corning Gorilla Glass 6, you can use it everyday with no worries about the elements. The 3,600mAh battery keeps the lights on for longer, too.
