The Simpsons takes their Halloween spirit into full blast as their going full anime with a parody of Death Note featuring Lisa for a segment of The Simpsons’ Treehouse of Horror XXXIII.
The Simpsons’ Treehouse of Horror XXXIII will be airing this Sunday on October 30th at 8PM EST on Fox Stations. It will also be available for streaming on Hulu the day after. The episode will also come to Disney+ soon as the special is considered the sixth episode for the 34th season.
DiscussingFilm has tweeted out a preview of the parody and we could see Lisa walking in world full of pollution with its disposable car and gender reveal napalm before the Death Tome fell on her.

You can clearly see just from the complete makeover of the artsyle that it is something way different than your average Simpsons special.
The parody segment is animated by DR Movie, one of the production companies that had worked for the original Death Note animation. Other well-known works of theirs includes Season 2 for The Rising of Shield Hero in which they co-produced together with Kinema Citrus.
The parody for Death Note, titled “Death Tome” is going to be the second segment in the three-segment of The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror XXXIII special.
The first segment is “The Pookadook” featuring Marge and is a parady to Babadook while the third segment is centered around Homer in Westworld titled “Simpsonsworld”.
