Former Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato’ Seri Mohd Najib bin Abdul Razak has joked that if he plays the PS5, he could topple the UN. This is in response to fellow ex-premier Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad, claiming the fall of the Pakatan Harapan borne from conspiracies with Dato’ Seri Najib Razak’s apparent machinations at the core.
While we don’t need to go full political here, he does quip at the quote seen in local newspaper Sinar Harian – you can read it in English via The Star – saying:
Apparently I’m the primary cause of the PH government collapse. I didn’t even know, now I do. But I don’t remember doing anything to cause its downfall. Does being on Facebook mean I can collapse a government? That’s dangerous, maybe I’ll stick to playing the PS4.
He followed that up by saying:
If being on Facebook everyday means I can dissolve a government, that really is dangerous. I’ll wait for the release of the PS5. Once I play the console, then the UN could collapse.
Perhaps it would be much safer for the PS5 to not fall into the Dato’ Seri’s hands lest he does indeed apparently unravel multiple world organizations. At least Dato’ Seri Najib Razak is keeping that humour alive, for what it’s worth!
In any case, the PS5 will be arriving this Holiday 2020, supposedly bringing with it a huge backwards compatibility feature. At present, we only know of Godfall being the first PS5 title, so look forward to that!
