The Pokemon Company Launches Brand New Pikachu Jet for The Pokemon Air Adventures Project

The Pokemon Company has introduced a brand-new Pikachu Jet as part of its partnership with Korean airline, T’Way Air.

The Pikachu Jet TW is an airplane wrapped in a special vinyl sticker featuring Pikachu, Charmander, Jigglypuff, Arcanine and Meloetta. In addition, the plane also offers Pokemon-themed in-flight experiences from its music, decorations and amenities to truly make you feel like travelling together with Pokemon.

Via its official website, the airplane will mainly operate in the Asia region, including Korean dosmetic flights.

A launch ceremony was held for the airplane at Gimpo International Airport, Seoul, South Korea. The ceremony had the plane have its inaugural flight from Gimpo International Airport and safely landed at Taipei Songshan Airport.

Amongst the attendees for the event were Mr. Jeong Hong-geun, CEO of T’way Air, Mr. Lim Jai-boem, CEO of Pokémon Korea Inc., and Mr. Susumu Fukunaga, Executive Officer of The Pokémon Company.

They have also announced line-ups of original merchandises featuring the special airplane will be available for sale starting from January 1^st, 2023.

The Pikachu Jet TW is part of the Pokemon Air Adventure project that started from the year 2021 with the aim to connect the world’s skies through Pikachu Jets.
