Palit had recently announced the release of their GeForce RTX 4060 Dual GPU with the price tag of USD $299.
While the Palit GeForce RTX 4060 Dual comes with various of designs, the port configuration is generally the same with its 3x DisplayPort and 1x HDMI. Palit has also introduced their Maker feature where users can customise their graphics card however they want. But as of now, the feature is only available for the GamingPro and Dual series.
The Total Graphics Power (TGP) of 115W makes it suitable for small form factor (SFF) builds or for gaming rigs under a budget.
Raster Performance
At 1080p resolution, the Palit GeForce RTX 4060 Dual ran a few games to test its overall performances. With Shadow of the Tomb Raider DX12 it reached 137 FPS with 1% Low, while running at 160 FPS at Average. Whereas with Horizon Zero Dawn at 1% Low saw 90 FPS and Average at 119 FPS. Meanwhile Forza Horizon 5 had an 87 FPS at 1% Low and 112 FPS at Average.
With 1440p resolution of the same games, the results are as follows: Shadow of the Tomb Raider DX12 had a 99 FPS at 1% Low and 112 FPS at Average. Horizon Zero Dawn saw a 72 FPS at 1% Low and 88 FPS at Average. With Forza Horizon 5, it had an FPS of 73 at 1% Low and 95 FPS at Average.
Ray Tracing Performance
At 1080p resolution, Shadow of the Tomb Raider DXR (RT+ DLSS) at 1% Low had an FPS of 92, while on Average it had 119 FPS. Far Cry 6 (RT) had 89 FPS at 1% Low while having an FPS of 101 on Average. Meanwhile with Forza Horizon 5 (RT + DLSS) had a 80 FPS at 1% Low while having 104 FPS on medium.
Meanwhile at 1440p resolution, Shadow of the Tomb Raider DXR (RT+DLSS) at 1% Low had 69 FPS and 81 FPS on Average. Far Cry 6 (RT) got an FPS of 65 at 1% Low while having 72 FPS on Average and lastly, Forza Horizon (RT+DLSS) at 1% Low had 70 FPS while 88 FPS on Average.
DLSS 3 Performance
Turning on DLSS, the following are the results for the games at 1080p. Cyberpunk 2077 (RT Ultra + DLSS 3 Off) had a 21 FPS at 1% Low, 34 Average FPS and a PC Latency of 129 ms. Turning on DLSS 3 showed 66 FPS at 1% Low, 95 Average FPS and a PC Latency of 48 ms.
F1 22 (RT Ultra + DLSS 3 Off) had a FPS of 59 at 1% Low, Average FPS of 81 and PC Latency of 43 ms while with DLSS 3 On, F1 22 had 115 FPS at 1% Low, Average FPS of 164 and 40 ms PC Latency.
Forza Horizon 5 (RT Ultra + DLSS 3 Off) showed 75 FPS at 1% Low, 104 Average FPS and 36 ms PC Latency. Meanwhile, 108 FPS at 1% Low, 146 Average FPS and 39 ms PC Latency while DLSS 3 was activated.
Benchmarks
The Palit GeForce RTX 4060 Dual ran through several synthetic benchmarks, the results are as follows: Blender Benchmark – Monster (1769), Junkshop (899) and Classroom (919). V-Ray Benchmark 5.0.0 – GPU CUDA (1231) and GPU RTX (1824). 3DMark – Time Spy (11352), Time Spy Extreme (5239), Port Royal (6037), and Speed Way (2539).
