Today, Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the new season of Overwatch League has racked up more than 13 million viewers. Tickets were all sold out in the opening week but that did not stop viewers from tuning in from around the world. Exceeding the 10.8 million viewers from last year, it is a 30% up year over year on a global basis.

The second season of Overwatch League was held on February 14 at Blizzard Arena Los Angeles. With expansion franchises of eight teams joining this season, bringing the league’s total to 20 teams.
