The Netflix One Piece Live Action series was unveiled at the Netflix Tudum Fan Event in Brazil with a new trailer giving fans a glimpse of The Straw Hat Pirates in the new show.

The five leads of the show: Iñaki Godoy (Luffy), Mackenyu (Zorro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero Gibson (Usopp), and Taz Skylar (Sanji) appeared on the Netflix Tudum stage to talk more about the series. It may have been the loudest the crowd was all night.
“This story means the world to me, I feel so honored to be your Luffy,” says Iñaki Godoy. “Thank you Brazil and enjoy the ride!!”
One Piece is the journey of Monkey D Luffy, a young man who dreams of finding The One Piece, a legendary buried treasure worth more than all the riches in the world. Anyone who finds it will become The Pirate King, which is exactly what Luffy is looking to become, setting up his own pirate crew called The Straw Hat Pirates.
The live-action series will seemingly cover up to the Arlong Park Arc of the series with the trailers giving us hints at key moments in the show like The Baratie Resturant and meeting Buggy The Clown.
The Netflix live-action One Piece series will set sail on August 31st, 2023
