The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV will launch for the Nintendo Switch on 9th April 2021 in North America and Europe. For Oceania, the game will be out on 16th April 2021.
Earlier today, a tweet by NIS America, revealed the good news. The tweet featured a trailer. Lasting just under two minutes long, it serves to introduce and remind viewers about the plot of the series thus far. Featuring many in-game cut scenes, fans may recognise the characters they met and bonded with over the series’ last three entries.

First launched in Japan on 27th September 2018, Trails of Cold Steel IV is the fourth and final entry in the Trails of Cold Steel series, which is part of The Legend of Heroes franchise. The English version of the game only came out last year, over two years since its initial release. Even then, the title was only available for PS4. Japanese players will have the Switch version on 16th March 2021.
With the Switch port coming out in April, only the PC audience has yet to receive a specific release date. The game’s official website lists the PC’s release to be within this year. Hopefully, it will come out on Steam soon.
