The internet has been up to its usual shenanigans, with fans making a variety of polls that all seem to be won by Reigen from the anime Mob Psycho 100, forcing him into a deathmatch with Sans from Undertale.

Yesterday saw various informal polls for categories like “Best DILF” and “Best Twink” won by the protagonist of Mob Psycho 100, Reigen, despite the character being neither a DILF nor a twink.

Naturally, given the con man nature of the character, some fans had fun calling out the absurdity of the poll results

Dubbing it the #REIGENSWEEP, fanartists even did illustrations commemorating the character’s prowess at the polls- something any any politician would be envious of.

Of course, like all winning streaks, this would come to an end via a multi-day bracket run by Tumblr Sexyman OTD poll- looking for the ultimate Tumblr Sexyman.

It’s here that the #ReigenSweep ground to a halt- while he made it all the way to grand finals he was apparently beat out by the ultimate Tumblr Sexyman, Sans from Undertale.

Both characters and their respective “Sweep” hashtags have appeared on the global trending on Twitter as a result of the poll, which provides a great distraction from the otherwise dismal state of things.
