After dropping a number of hints through the official Dota 2 official Twitter, it’s been confirmed: The International 11 will be held in Singapore!

At time of writing, the ESL One Dota 2 Stockholm Major is in its final phase, featuring a face off between TSM.FTX and OG. These two teams are likely going to be punching their tickets to The International 11 themselves, the most prestigious event for Dota 2 and arguably, for esports ever in at least prize pool. The event has typically been held in late August, but it has been confirmed to be in October instead as the Dota Pro Circuit for 2021 – 2022 is scheduled to conclude August 2022.
Austin “Cap” Walsh’s wish appears to have been fulfilled, at least! The Southeast Asia region is no stranger to official Valve events, with the Manila and Kuala Lumpur Majors, as well as a host of other events. In any case, stay tuned for all the details we would need for the regular Compendium, ticketing, and all that good stuff.
If you’re still here, be sure to watch the ESL One Stockholm event on Twitch too! While SEA no longer has a representative at the event, there’s still games to catch that you shouldn’t miss out.
