After COVID-19 put a halt to Dota 2‘s The International 10 event, the new dates have been set and the Supporters Club details for fans have been revealed. Teams will be providing the content for fans to purchase in bundles for their respective Supporters Club, with 50% of sales going to the teams. This iteration of Supporters Club bundles will last until The International begins, where in the future it will be throughout each Major.
The International 10 will be in Stockholm, Sweden, with group stages running 5 to 8 August, while the main event kicks off 10 August, culminating in the Grand Finals on 15 August. The prize pool stands at a whopping $40,018,195 for teams to claim their share.
Teams will have three bundles for their fans:
- Bronze: Team badge
- Silver: Includes sprays, emoticons
- Gold: Includes special in-game HP-bar badge, loading screens, and voice lines
These Badges will appear in multiple places in-game, including the friends list, player profiles, the Versus Screen, and the in-game scoreboard. Content from 17 teams have been added, with more to come as they are submitted and approved. There may also be content from teams without Silver / Gold Club bundles enabled. To join a team’s Supporters Club, visit the Team Profiles in the DPC tab.
More information about event attendance is planned to be revealed in June.
For future in-game content, a new event will arrive mid-to-late June, with another one planned for after The International. The events will not be funding The International 10’s prize pool.
