The Horus Heresy: Legions is a card-battle game that is developed by Everguild with Games Workshop for the mobile. This is the second card-battle game that was released in the market for the mobile with The Horus Heresy: Battle of Tallarn as the first one developed by Hexwar along with Games Workshop. Both of the games are based off the New York Times bestselling novels, The Horus Heresy, that takes place in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
This time in The Horus Heresy: Legions, players will build a card-deck consisting of Space Marines to do battle in online duels against real players. Players will lead the Legion with familiar warlords from the lore such as Loken, Kharn, Fulgrim and many more to relive the battles of the Imperium of Mankind.
That being said, the single-player campaign also takes players into the tragic events of Isstvan III where The Horus Heresy began. There are other modes as well like the PvP ranked seasons or a join in with other players to take part in epic Events where the Faction that wins, secures a permanent and game-changing boons.
If you are interested, the game will be launched for both iOS and Android later this month on the 26th July, 2018. Also, if you can’t wait any longer, you can still try out the Early Access version which is already on Google Play Store which of course is only for Android devices.
There is another mobile game based off the Warhammer 40,000 universe called, Warhammer Quest 2: The End Times which was launched back in April 2018. The game features strategic turn-based dungeon-crawling RPG if you are not a fan of card-battles. You can try this game out too if you’re a fan of the Warhammer 40,000 series who loves a little bit of gore and lore.
