The Genshin Impact University Invitational UK hosted by GinxTV has officially opened for registration.
The invitational is a Genshin Impact challenge for student travelers across the United Kingdom. Teams of three players (one captain and two teammates) will partake in a series of Genshin Impact in-game challenges. The final challenge will be held live in London. The Invitational will have a prize pool of £11,000 GBP (RM59,502).
The invitational has collaborated with gaming societies from nine universities however all UK student teams are welcome to sign up.
There are three stages of the competition. Stage one is team registration and selection, which will be Online. It starts today on the 9th of May and ends on the 16th of May, at 00:00 (UTC+0)/8:00 (MYT). Regular users will vote on which teams qualify for the tournament.
The second stage is the Qualifiers which will take place at Local University Divisions from the 16th of May to the 20th of May. And the third stage is the Finals which will take place Live in London on the 28th of May.

How to Register:
Each team will consist of 1 captain and 2 members. The captain can initiate the team registration. All team members must be at least 18 years of age and must be students who are currently studying in the UK or have already graduated. Teams are allowed a maximum of one alumni Player to participate in their final nominated team. All other Team Members must be current students of their representative institution.

Notes on Division Selection:
If there are students from University A and B, they can choose either Division A or Division B. If any member does not belong to one of the 9 universities listed, then they may register in the Social team Division.

Registration Review:
When the application materials are submitted, they will be reviewed regularly by our staff. After approval, the popular vote will launch on the page, and the team will be added to the voting page. If your team is not approved, please revise the information and submit it again.

Popularity Voting Rules:
Each person with a unique IP address/device can give one vote per day to one team. The eligibility to vote each day will be renewed at 03:00 (UTC+0). The popular vote will also decide which team goes into qualifiers and the final. The tournament officials will cover the travel costs of the final social team.
The voting points vary according to each stage.
Stage 1: 9 May – 16 May, each vote is worth one point, and you can vote for any team.
Stage 2: 20 May – 28 May, each vote is worth three points, and you can only vote for the 10 finalists.

Popularity Award Selection Rules:
There will be an additional prize available for the Team that is voted in first place out of the 10 final competing Teams in the popular vote. Polls close after the final. Points for Stages 1 and 2 will be accumulated. At the same time, 52 lucky supporters will obtain 100 Primogems (You need to have a Genshin Impact account to receive the reward).
