The Galaxy of Lemuria is a survival MMORPG that’s coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Windows, Apple and Linux). The game is still in it’s Alpha phase and they had recently revealed some of its gameplay footages. With a trading card based skill system, the game allows you to interact with other players and explore the galaxy!
There’s a ton of things to do when you’re given the freedom to explore planets. The game does sound like No Man’s Sky, where you get to explore the galaxy as well. You also get to harvest crops, build your own home, collect materials, cook, have a pet and many more. The planets are small and you can traverse the whole planet on foot, but there’s also a transportation system, a hybrid pod – the Explorer A1, that can move on land and bring you to outer space to explore other planets.
Everything in there are procedurally generated, which means each time you land on a planet, it is randomly generated along with the types of creatures that live in it. There are various skill cards that can be obtained and traded with other players or sold. A new card can also be acquired through a reward system with new card boosters. Depending on the level of your card and it comes with different bonus stats that will improve strengthen your character. Each planet has its own limited resources. As this is a survival MMORPG, you will find yourself with other players who can either be a friend or your foe. Once you’re landed on a random planet, you’ll need to gather as much resources as you can to feed yourself as there’s an H/P, Stamina, Energy, Hunger, Sanity and O2 bar to look after. For now, there’s not much details revealed yet but the Alpha Test is expected to be available by the end of December to all the backers of the game.
The graphic art-style is akin to the anime genre but with some realistic environments. If you’ve seen Re: Legend, we actually love the art-style there which is pretty similar to this as well. For more info, you can check out their official site or their official Facebook page!
