Publisher Nexon has just released the gameplay footage as well as the Unveil the Universe developer diary for The First Berserker: Khazan. The game will launch in 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.

The game is a hardcore action RPG that expands on the universe of “Dungeon & Fighter” by focusing on the story of Khazan and Ozma, heroes of the Pellos Empire. The game’s narrative follows Khazan, who is falsely accused of treason and exiled. He embarks on a quest for vengeance, gaining new powers from the mysterious Blade Phantom.

Developer Neople have also shared the behind-the-scenes comments on the story and design of The First Berserker: Khazan. The gameplay showcases Khazan battling enemies in a harsh, snowy environment, culminating in a boss fight. The game emphasizes strategic combat and character growth, allowing players to customize Khazan’s abilities and equipment to suit their playstyle.

With the developers’ providing insight for the upcoming action RPG game, they implied that there are multiple endings for The First Berserker: Khazan. “Depending on the path you take, the ending that Khazan experiences will be slightly different,” said Park Eun Hee, the lead world designer.
