Bethesda Softworks and Gaea Mobile Ltd are bringing the localized The Elder Scrolls: Legends to Asia fans, with familiar heroes, characters, creatures and foes from the Elder Scrolls universe. Transform them into cards and see them fight on the battlefields!
You can pre-register for the game on both Google Play and Apple Store in Asia countries. Read on to see what localized features will be available in the game.
The localized Asia version of The Elder Scrolls: Legends will keep its authentic look and game feel, along with the well-balanced strategic card game, bringing with it exciting challenges and rich stories. Traditional Chinese is available in early access, with more languages coming to Asia later. The user interface has been adapted to optimize user experience for the on-the-go player. Other features, perks and rewards will be given to Asia players too, so keep an eye out!
Sub-ranks have been expanded in the ranked games so that new players won’t be matching with veterans too early, to avoid having an unpleasant experience. Players would be learning the basics through the immersive storyline before going for ranked. 12 Ranks will be leading up to Legend Rank, with each rank having 3 sub-ranks. Each victory will light a star in the current sub-rank, ranking up only after achieving one more victory after lighting all sub-rank stars.
A more precise ELO score will also be had after initial matches to ensure similar rank level matching. The expanded ranking system is also to help avoid too many players falling into the same rank floor at the beginning of each season.
The Elder Scrolls: Legends localized for Asia will have story modes completely free to players in the region, so that they can experience the rich storyline of Fall of the Dark Brotherhood or master difficulty challenges. Completing the story mode can give more familiarity about the history of The Elder Scrolls series besides the basic gameplay and of course, exclusive free rewards from the set.
Active players will be rewarded with in-game resources. The Hero Pass is introduced to the game for another way to collect these resources for both core and casual players, on the belief that players should be rewarded on performance after each battle no matter how much or little time you can play.
The Hero Pass rewards players who work on getting batter in the game, while casual players can try out different play styles and decks without relying on card packs alone. The Pass is meant to help players experience the whole card collecting and deck building experience.
The Elder Scrolls: Legends in Asia is currently available in Taiwan, Macau, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and other regions besides opening pre-registrations. Once finetuning and optimization for localization is complete, the game will fully launch, expected to be completed early this year. Be sure to pre-register for rewards once you login to the game!
