Operation Iron Horse, the much-anticipated second eight-player raid in Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, will be going live globally on 30 June, 9AM PT.
Operation Iron Horse will be a free content update for owners of The Division 2 and the Warlords of New York expansion. Division Agents will be heading to a foundry where the True Sons are manufacturing weapons in their plans to re-establish their hold over Washington D.C. Teamwork and abilities of the most experienced agents will be tested.
Players will need to have reached level 40 after playing Warlords of New York to participate in the raid. A Level 30 version of Operation Iron Horse will be released 7 July for owners of the base game. It will be playable in Normal and Discovery difficulty modes, the latter to be arriving at a later date with a matchmaking feature.
After learning from the game’s first-ever eight-player raid, Operation Dark Hours, Operation Iron Horse is considered the ultimate challenge for Division 2 Agents, featuring new puzzles and mechanics to get players to work together. Determine the proper fight mechanics and execute your strategies in thought-provoking battles! Victorious Agents will receive exclusive loot such as:
- Ravenous exotic double-barrel rifle
- Regulus exotic revolver
- Foundry Bulwark gear set
- Future Initiative gear set
- And other unique rewards
The Race to World First also returns with the raid! The first team on each platform to complete Operation Iron Horse when it goes live will be immortalized in-game with their team photo and names displayed in a portrait in the White House of The Division 2 for all to see.
Twitch Drops will be coming back with the race, so that fans can receive drops from selected Twitch partner streamers who are streaming the raid. Drops will be available 30 June 17:00 CEST and closes 2 July 14:00 CEST.
