In the story trailer of the season one finale of The Dark Pictures Anthology, The Lonnit Entertainment TV crew has just received a pressing and mysterious phone call from a man who calls himself Granthem Du’Met.
In the phonecall, a promise of a tour around a faithful recreation of the H. H. Holmes murder castle, an idea that Lonnit Entertainment founder Charlie Lonnit believes might just save his show.
Jessie Buckley, the Oscar nominee stars as a member of this ill-fated crew take accepts the offer from Granthem to visit the mysterious hotel location. Unbeknownst to the crew, the place turns into a deadly trap made by the same very host who calls them over the phone.
Like rats in a maze, observed, isolated, and manipulated, it soon becomes painfully clear that the crew’s checkout is compromised, and they will have to make some impossible choices that they might live to regret or just not live at all.
