In this week’s episode of The Brave Room, we’ve secured our doors for a very important session in which Wan and Kit discuss the RPGs they’d like to see remade or brought back for the modern audiences.
Well, Kit does anyways. Turns out Wan is by most gamer standards quite a jock, and doesn’t have much in his retro RPG back-catalogue other than a box chained and sealed warning onlookers to never let Digimon World 2 see the light of day ever again, despite it being an RPG from his childhood that he looks back on fondly.
Kit makes an empassioned case for a return to Legend of Mana, as well as various other JRPGs that you’d think were made up, but were actually an integral part of Kit’s childhood.
Fun fact: This episode was recorded before the last Nintendo Direct, which saw many of Kit’s wishlist come true including Legend of Mana and technically Final Fantasy Tactics. While this was total coincidence, in retrospect we’re going to take total credit and say our podcast made that happen. Yay us.
The Brave Room is Gamerbraves’ own gaming podcast, hosted by W. “Wan” Amirul and Kit Chew discussing all things gaming, including serious industry topics like waifus. It’s available on Anchor, Spotify and YouTube.
